In May of 2016, Meredith Khan, after a long battle with mental illness, took her own life.  Sadly, suicide is now one of the leading causes of death for young people, as well as our military services members and police.  Miranda has donated several copies of her books to raise proceeds for the event, which she proudly serves as a committee member and emcee. Over the past three years, the committee has raised more than $80,000 to benefit AFSP.
For every book that is sold, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, known as AFSP.
